Galapagos 2025

The trip to the Galapagos was something we have considered several times over the years, but we finally did it is a special 70th birthday treat. It was a long flight, via Sydney, New Zealand, Chile, Peru and finally Ecuador. On the way, we had a couple of days at a hot spring resort in the cloud forest of the Andes in Ecuador. In Galapagos we spent a few days on three islands with a guide and one other couple. The wildlife was amazing and really tame. Lots of shorts of marine iguanas, giant tortoises and sea lions……
