Our second trip to Slovenia, this time to Kozjanski Regional Park in the east near the Croatian border. Several days of torrential rain resulted in rivers overflowing and a lot of time spent playing Scrabble, rummy and other games. So not much photography! We met up with Dusan Klenovsek, ecologist and conservationist with the park, and made arrangements to go back each year to be volunteers! A great project for our retirement. The area is so beautiful: you really should go there.
